One of my favorite things about cartoons made during the 1980s and 90s is the background music. Artists like Johnny Douglas, Robert J. Walsh, Shuki Levy, Ron Jones, D.C. Brown, and Chuck Lorre among others, have produced some of the most memorable incidental music ever heard in any media format. This page will contain several samples of music from various cartoon shows of the 80s and 90s, as well as links to these shows main sites containing more music from that particular show. These music tracks have been edited by myself, and may be choppy in some areas. Unfortunately, the studios who own these popular 80s cartoon shows have yet to release any soundtracks containing the original music from these shows, save a couple of records for Inspector Gadget and He-man that were released some 30 years ago and have since become unavailable.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Climatic music, usually used toward the end of episodes, and in movies the turtles watch
M.A.S.K. - V.E.N.O.M.'s theme
G.I. Joe/Transformers - Epic battle theme
DuckTales - Temple of the treasure of the golden suns collapses
He-Man - Common action music
She-Ra - He-Man vs. Adora in "The Secret of the Sword"
Inspector Gadget - Action music, usually used when M.A.D. sets its plan into motion
Spider-man/Spider-man and his Amazing Friends - Common action music
Inhumanoids - End credits
